Photography Nature: 7 Reasons Why I Love Nature Photography

Photography nature…nature photography…photos of nature…nature photos! No matter how you say it or in whatever manner you say it, it brings good feelings and positive vibrations. My senses become alight with eagerness to the point of trembling awareness. This wakefulness is a drug that I breathe with pleasure for nothing beats this all natural high. I take lots of heavy doses too especially when my spirit would lament and I tend to feed the darkness in my soul.

Aaah…why did I fell in love with nature? Perhaps it was because I grew up with a dad who loved nature. Walking back in time, I remember with glee how we would walk—my tiny hand engulfed in his big rough hands. We would walk, my dad and I, around the small town where we used to live. We would walk slowly breathing in the countryside air and he would delight in telling me how lovely the day is. So I began to look at life differently and thus begin my romance with nature and photography.

Nature speaks beguilingly, beckons the romantic spirits to soar, guides the students in search for wisdom, teaches and inspires the soul to eternal heights of understanding and beauty. How well do we listen? Nature reflects what is inside of us. For our actions are seen on how we take care of nature. If we act in uncaring ways, our eyes become witnesses to the ugliness; but if we tend mother nature lovingly, its gifts are numerous to count blessing us endlessly.

Nature photos are reminders for me to take care of our earth and all the living things that dwell on it.

I love walking…in fact, I adore walking! And every time I walk my feet leads me to gardens and forests and lakes. And when I chanced upon roads that lead to different paths, it also makes me smile. How beautiful that even nature shows us that we have all the choices we have in life. Our choice is ours and we must choose wisely. But if we do make a choice, we do not like, we can always retrace our steps and choose another path again. And so the journey continues..

Trees give us shade when the sun becomes too hot. If we look up in the sky, we can see that clouds give us shade too. Nature is wise and it has all the tools to keep life going. Doesn't that go for us too? We too have all the tools we need to keep our life going. Are we aware of it?

On the other hand, clouds bring out the child in me.

Clouds remind me of kids and cotton candies. And when I am bored, I would sit in the window and look up and let my imagination run riot. The clouds become different creatures playing from dragons to monsters to angels, anything is possible.

Every time a flower blooms, it softly whispers…open up to the world and accept all it has to offer.  It makes me think of baring yourself, naked with joy, skipping with delight, singing with the choirs of heavenly angels.  To be open to life is the secret to happiness.  Open and allowing yourself to bloom…bloom and bloom.

Stormy days when the waves hit the rocks are like the challenges that come our way. I tried to escape pain for the longest time. I hated it with a vengeance and misery coursing through my veins. It took me awhile to accept that pain is sometimes there because I need it—because I needed to learn that I can actually live a life free from pain if I so choose. Facing the storms of life comes with many blessings—builds character, fortitude, love and compassion.

Ever been angry?  Well I've had my share of those moments.  Do I hate myself for it?  Of course not!  This peacock just showed me that you are still special inside and sometimes you need to blow off steam to let out all the things that are boiling within.

Breathe in...breathe out...breathe in...breathe out...

I love rainbows.  I can’t imagine my world without rainbows for I live in one right?  Hope –that’s the message of rainbows.  And that’s the message of nature…and that is what my heart wants to remind myself—every ticking of the clock, every second, every minute of the day.

Rainbow reminds me of hope.

If nature speaks to you, what does it say? If it does not, do you want her to speak to you? Photography nature...nature photography...in whatever way you say it reminds us the beauty that the gift of nature has for us. So if I get lonely, I would come to this page and breathe in the sight of nature. And if possible, go outside and sit on the grass and allow nature to speak to me...one more time.
